Our first Alabama game!!!!

Tyler and I got to experience our first Bama game, (even though it was only A Day game) and we had a blast! We can not wait to go to the games this season. We toured the campus, which was gorgeous, and went shopping and ate downtown! Then we walked into Bryant-Denny Stadium, all decked out in our crimson and white and enjoyed the view. We couldn't ask for a more beautiful day, and the only thing we forgot was the sunscreen. lol! Momma will be better prepared this season, but hey...I could use a little sun, who are we kidding? Right.. : ) I can not wait to go back to Tuscaloosa this Fall!

Update on the babies...

As you can see, Hilliary (left) and Anna (right) and their beautiful baby boys are doing great! They are happy and healthy and love their Aunt Tissy!! Deigan (left) is 2 weeks younger than Douglas. lol, Deigan looks like he may be a month or so older than him! I am so excited that I get to be apart of their lives and watch them grow every day...I love my besties!

Jeffrey's birthday dinner...

Tonight we celebrated Jeffrey's 30th birthday and our parents met for the first time! It was a success and we all enjoyed a wonderful, and filling dinner at Texas Roadhouse!

Earlier in the day, Jeffrey took us to the BLP manufacturing plant where he works, to show us exactly what he does day in and day out. Tyler had made a comment in a conversation a few days ago, that he wanted to be a paint guy like Jeffrey....so he got permission for a little "field trip" today. : ) First, Tyler was issued a pair of safety glasses and then we went on our way. We started out at the beginning, where the gallon cans were being cleaned and prepped then put on the conveyor belt to make its rounds! Then we saw them get filled with paint, the machine place the tops on them and seal them and attach the wire holder to the tops.....all very high tech! We met all of his co-workers and everyone of them asked Tyler if he was ready to start working with "dad" and he smiled and said yes! lol... Upon leaving, Tyler was able to work on the aerosol paint can machine, placing the marbles in the can (did you know there was a marble in each spray can?), then placing the paint in the can, putting the tube in the can and then sending it to the sealer machine to seal it shut and get ready for the tabs and tops to be placed on them and get boxed up. That is a lot of work! lol...he was so excited that he got to do that! It was a great day! Here are some more pix of our wonderful day together....I forgot my camera when we were at the plant. Yeah, I can't believe it either! : ) Maybe next time...
